Lunch with Friends

Last week was a crazy one for me. Too much to do and not even near enough time to get everything done! That is why I was so grateful to take an afternoon and spend it with friends. I have been blessed with some amazing friends. These ladies are not only incredible mothers, and women but, they are great examples to me. They continue to show me what it means to “find joy in the journey”.  They are happy, caring, and beautiful (both inside and out).

When I invited them over I knew I wanted to make it special.  While in Target the other day, I found these flower clips in the dollar bin and knew I could use them. The polka dot plates are also from Target, and yes they are paper plates! (I like a simple clean up);) The candy bars are my absolute favorite! Who doesn’t love a parting gift, especially when its chocolate?! Oh and these plastic mason jars are great for little kids! ( I bought them last year at Walmart and use them all the time) Making a table look put together doesn’t have to take a ton of time or money, just some small and simple details will do the trick!
