Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year! I love all the white lights, pops of red, and sparkly details. Decorating my house is one of the things that I look forward to each year. I feel like it brings in some extra Christmas magic into our home. At night time, we spend our nights with fires roaring in the fireplace (even if it is still 80 outside 😉 ) and often times just snuggled on the couch watching a holiday movie. I hope that when my children are older and have their own homes, that they take time to make this season special for their families too. I hope they remember all the ornaments we hung with care, all the hot chocolate we drank besides the twinkling lights of the tree, and the spirit of Christmas that was felt throughout our home. I hope they will turn up the Christmas songs and have lots of dance parties, make giant gingerbread house messes, and eat way too many Christmas cookies.
