^Whenever I take pictures, she begs to join in. I think she really likes sharing her personality with the camera! She’s always making me laugh!

This past weekend we traveled up to Virginia to visit Geoffrey’s sister at Southern Virginia University. She is a freshman there this year and is really loving it. On Saturday we were able to watch her cheer in her first game. (you can see more of that on my instagram) Virginia weather was a nice somewhat cooler change than what we have been living in here in Florida. I was so excited to finally add some layers without having a heat stroke! When the weather starts cooling off I live in layers! I have lots of cardigans and other layering pieces that I’ve had for years that still look like new because they just don’t get a lot of use living here. My fall/winter side of my closet is my favorite! This navy dress was one that I got during the Nordstrom sale and have just been saving until it cools down a little. I love it because it’s soft and easy to layer. Plus, all the ruching on the side helps to keep the dress a more relaxed fit. This tassel necklace is an inexpensive piece I found at Target (go figure! They always have cute things) and for less than $20 its the perfect way to add the tassel/fringe trend to your wardrobe. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!
