Finally getting around to sharing some of my favorite pictures from our time in Paris. We spent a short 3 days there and because we knew that we only had a little time we hit the ground running! After checking into Hotel Juliana (the cutest boutique hotel ever!) we headed out on a bus tour to the Palace of Versailles. This place was so spectacular! I can’t even imagine how grand it must of been back in its prime! As we were walking around the gardens I kept thinking about the movie The Count of Monte Cristo, and how parties here must of been amazing! I think my husband kept thinking of how expensive the lawn/garden bills must be! 😉 We spent the rest of our time sight seeing the Louvre (which was incredible and very overwhelming! The exhibits never ended) , the Eiffel Tower, and doing a little shopping. The food, the hotel, and the people were so good to us! Everyone was so kind to us, especially the owner of a small cafe. He was the sweetest man who welcomed my rambunctious family into his shop and even entertained my grouchy 3 year old with his impressions of Donald Duck. He had the best truffle and mushroom pizza, and an even better Chocolate lava cake! Another afternoon we spent hours just letting the kids play in the park, riding the carousels, and eating plenty of crepes, and macaroons. Paris you were a dream for our little family, and we can’t wait to come back!
Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo-Rhea
