Every year our whole family takes a long weekend and heads to a resort to enjoy some family time. It’s always a good time for the cousins to play, and for everyone to celebrate. We spent our days in the lazy river, kids club, going down the water slides, playing games, and even doing some karaoke! I have to admit that we kinda broke tradition and had no BBQ this holiday. Instead of grilling out, our July 4th dinner was spent at the Italian restaurant eating some pizza. (Its what the birthday boy picked!) This weekend was spent enjoying family and really remembering whats important in life. It was spent with a grateful heart for this beautiful country in which we are so blessed to live. And while I was enjoying the fireworks that evening from the balcony of the resort, surrounded by all these crazy littles, my thoughts were turned to those who are serving/have served our country. Happy Birthday America! Here’s a look at some of the pictures from this weekend…

^I mean really?! She’s the cutest!
^ Much of the boys time was spent shooting hoops; there were some intense games going on here folks!
^My birthday boy!
^Best friends!
^The whole crew!! It’s a little out of focus (our server did the best he could) but I still love it!
^Love this so much! These two have loved each other since the moment they met. The first time Maya saw Camdyn she reached out to kiss her newborn face.
^Water balloon baseball! The best beat the heat game!
^The girls (minus our Natalie, who escaped to her room!)
^Brotherly love!
